Mogadishu Shipping & Cargo LLC was co-founded by Abdi Hassan Moalim and Mohamed Ali Kalay, from Somalia, in 1988. In early 1991 the company started chartering launches from India, sailing United Arab Emirates ports to Somalia.
And now we are a Customs Clearing & Forwarding agent offering effective and reliable customs clearing, forwarding, shipping and inland transportation services to our clients — right from brokerage, inspection and documentation, to final clearance and transportation. We promise our clients to adhere to the standards recommended by the industry and offer them customized solutions.
We are pleased to offer our services in freight forwarding and customs clearance to handle your import and export shipments. With our offices in Dubai, UAE and Mogadishu, Somalia, and partners in Kenya, Sudan, Djibouti, Thailand, Japan and China, and alliances worldwide, we provide fast and quick services at very economical rates. We try to reduce the cost of importation and customs procedures.
We clear both sea cargo and air cargo, using United Arab Emirates ports and airports, and we can handle any type of cargo anytime and anywhere in the world. All our staff members are trained to understand that each customer's needs are different, and as a company we understand that ours is a service-based industry — we are a communicator of information, so our information must be consistent, timely and accurate.
